Year 3

Welcome to the Home Learning Page for Year 3

As you are now aware we are providing our remote learning offer via Microsoft Teams however we do know that every individual in every family is different and everyone is contending with a different range of circumstances during the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Our main priority is our Parents/Carers and children’s wellbeing and mental health. Without this being at the forefront the learning cannot take place successfully.

Take your time and do not try to complete all the work at once. If something isn’t working, Stop, Take a breath and try something different. You could read a book, practice time tables, complete a Joe Wick’s workout, Use CBBC or the BBC Bite size Website. You could always come back to the work you were struggling with later. Remember we have Remote Learning Teachers that you can message on Microsoft Teams if you are struggling with your work.

We want to see and hear about any work that you complete at home, not only the work we set on Teams. Please send anything you wish for the teachers to see to your year groups email address.

We do recommend that as a minimum your child reads every day, completes some writing and maths, be it online, the lesson from Teams or some writing. Even if you are only able to complete 30 Minutes a day of each.

Physical Exercise is of course a must! Remember during lockdown you are able to exercise daily but as you are probably aware Joe Wicks will be returning with PE with Joe every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9am on YouTube.
